Since joining in May 2008 Amanda has been responsible for a number of innovative consultation projects with Fluid and sister company Soundings. These include the exemplary ‘Wharves Deptford’ high-density residential and mixed-use scheme and Kingston Ancient Market for Royal Borough of Kingston and most recently she has lead the consultation process on Canada Water Masterplan for British Land one of London’s most significant Opportunity Areas.

Amanda is an experienced practitioner, with wide scale knowledge of consultation and planning processes, becoming Senior Associate in 2014. She brings her considered and thoughtful approach with commitment and attention to detail, that consistently delivers sound, well judged and high quality work.

Other projects Amanda has been involved with include the major regeneration project at Bishopsgate Goodsyard from 2013-15 and Chelsea Barracks from 2010-12. She has also more recently been project leader on the UCL East Campus in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and a community audit in Kings Cross for Argent. Through these projects she has gained knowledge of the planning and design process, community and client liaison and communication and stakeholder management.

Amanda, with a degree in design, brings strong graphic abilities along with a creative flair and grounded approach that builds strong relationships and trust with local people and clients alike.

At Canada Water Amanda has been involved since 2014 working closely with the client team at British Land, the Architects Allies and Morrison and the rest of the consultant team including DP9 and ARUP.

Over this period she has planned and delivered four major public consultation events and public workshops, a series of focus topic sessions, produced regular newsletters, managed the website, designed exhibition and other consultation materials including innovative approaches bespoke for the project, managed events and a team of assistants, as well as delivering comprehensive reports.

Amanda has a background in architecture and community development, has volunteered on development programmes in Nepal, worked with ASF on social enterprise and been involved in youth engagement training and programmes.
